Potato-Cucumber-Salad

Fabian explained to me about potatoes: There are generally two different kinds of potatoes, hard-boiled and soft-boiled. The hard-boiled potatoes don't get very soft when boiled and are usually used if you want to serve the potatoes "in one piece" or sliced, like for Gratin, or fried potatoes. The soft-boiled ones get quite soft when boiled and are usually used for mashed potatoes and such. This was also the case for the Lapskaus.
